Nanotechnology – Age of Convergence

We are approaching an evolutionary event horizon, where the organic and the synthetic, the virtual and the “real”, are merging together into an operational ecology, an existence morphology for which there is no precendent in the history of which we are currently aware, catalyzed by nanotechnology – www.historianofthefuture.com

    2010 here we come!!!! lol

  2. BlackDreamer345 says:

    oooookay. Fairytale video

  3. Mushiewookie says:

dude calm down, nano technology IS being worked on, but this video looks like it was made a considerable number of years ago, I mean for gawd’s sake it says “the year is 2010″, it’s just a video of how nano technology COULD be used, nothing factual about it, just an old video giving insight to what might be, simply enjoy it for what it is, an old concept, when the real stuff hits the net, you’ll know about it!

  4. jmoriarty001 says:

Really. I assume your an engineer, doctor, scientist of a sort. What… none of these. What a shock. Don’t be so quick to make assumptions with no factual bases. Especially when those of little to no education may read your writings and think they have learned something. Did you see any nano machines in this video? Did they say anything about how they actually work? Then what makes you think that is even possible?

  5. jmoriarty001 says:

Not how it works? No information on how it’s made? Not a single interview with the scientists? One picture maybe two of the actual occurrence or device? Just a cheesy cartoon representation that really says nothing. Come on, this is a video for 3rd graders that has little to no information.

  6. vegadomis32988 says:

thats how easy machines can take over a human.. like they can make a program using nano technology to inject into a human to take over their brain and tell them to kill people.. all from a shot

  7. sleepingeye says:

    All watch Terminator 2 ;)
    not so unreal

  8. QuantumAnomaly says:

I’m just wondering when we can expect nano birth-control.

  9. QuantumAnomaly says:

teh interwebz r already full of electronic harassment, lol.

  10. SmileNow2 says:

This is what could become electronic harassment.

  11. Phyerbyrd says:

How so? This is the textbook definition of life.

  12. Teronyx says:

I think you missed the point, this video was merely presenting an idea of what the future might be like. Sort of a “ooh” and “ah” kind of vid of the wonders of nanotechnology.

  13. pdema030 says:

That statement reveals an utter misunderstanding of evolution.

  14. letmewatch4U says:

I wonder how humans will use this for killing people .They said we would be able to power the world once we find out how to split the atom look at the outcome .This is no different .

  15. photonlust says:

i was disappointed in this video, its very enjoyable to watch but it is very heavy on hypnotic imagery rather than any actual science or educated material regarding the emerging future. it’s fun to think about what the possible futures technology will open up, but this is not a very convincing presentation for legitmate emerging technologies.

it’s also only fair to say that if you want to hit the bong and watch something… well go ahead and press play! :D

  16. ccricers says:

Some people put neon lights in their computers with glass cases though, so they at least go that part right lol.

  17. Phyerbyrd says:

If a particle is capable of absorbing energy and is capable of darwinian evolution without outside help, it’s alive.

  18. hardc0r3gam3r says:

Someday we’ll have these tiny little nanoscopic machines within our body system… it’s just the matter of time. Great inventions always comes from sheer raw ideas and as long as people has these dreams and desires, coupled with our ever increasing and advancing knowledge from our very well archived foundations, no doubt we’ll see it some day :)

  19. princeofdarkness187 says:

    lol, its all good man

  20. vman456 says:

Hmm, my bad. I’ve watched too many videos and I no longer know what each one is saying before I comment, lol.

  21. QuissOboy says:

3:12 Sabrina’s new neuro-prosthetics have changed her perception of existence. Sabrina is no longer merely Sabrina. MERELY!? The Nanos hijacked her. LoL

  22. peeeepsi says:

i hope to do this in college next year, i find it infinitely fascinating…
    also to
“stonerj0e” i really wouldn’t expect someone with stoner in their name to know that evolution is proven… even the christian church has accepted that, think its time you do too. darwin was a genius.

  23. princeofdarkness187 says:

“Who said anything about next year?”

Well huh………. The video we are commenting on???????

Which was the whole point of my initial comment!!!!

  24. vman456 says:

Who said anything about next year? Most speculate that we’ll be seeing nanotech. AFTER 2020. That’s still a lot of time.

  25. babbocke says:

this sound like game Nanobreaker :/// if u ahvent palyed ppl was ijected with nano microschemes which gone to mad virus and they got all crazy and ppl changed into mutant robots or somthing idk
